Can I use my card as much as I want? Yes, you can use your card every time you dine with one of our participating restaurants. Please refer to each restaurant's DiningStars offer to determine when discounts apply. (Not valid with other offers)
Where can I use my card? Your card can be used in the greater Nashville area at participating restaurants.
How much of my $50 donation benefits children? The Shalom Foundation and Vanderbilt Children's Hospital, with the help of our generous corporate sponsors, every dollar contributed by card holders directly benefits services to children living in acute poverty.
How do DiningStars Sponsors participate? Each Corporate Gold Sponsor supports the program through a significant financial contribution as well as in-kind support, assistance with special events and spreading the news about DiningStars!

How does Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt benefit from DiningStars? All funds raised through DiningStars benefit the collaborative, global efforts of the Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt and The Shalom Foundation. These two groups are working together to save and change lives of children who would not otherwise receive life-saving surgical procedures, critical medical treatment, basic care and nourishment.
Does it cost something additional to attend DiningStars events? Most events are fundraisers to benefit DiningStars so there will be an additional donation requested to attend. Some events will be very casual and others may be upscale requiring a more significant contribution to attend. Do I need to RSVP for DiningStars events? Some events will require an RSVP in advance. Some will be fun parties with a simple donation at the door. Check out each special event under "News & Events", at the restaurant's website or in the DiningStars e-Newsletter.
